Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce – offers a number of programs and services to assist individuals and their families with mental health needs. https://greybruce.cmha.ca/
The Farmer Wellness Initiative – the provincial and federal governments are funding access for up to four free counselling sessions with a mental health professional for all farmers across Ontario including members of their family. The mental health professionals have received training to understand the unique needs of Ontario farmers. Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, in English and French, farmers can call 1-866-267-6255 to speak to a counsellor. Developed and launched by the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division, in partnership with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, this service is provided by LifeWorks.
The Hope for Wellness Help Line – established as a specific resource for First Nations and Inuit to provide immediate, culturally competent telephone counselling, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is available in English, French and upon request in Cree, Ojibway, and Inuktitut. Online chat services are currently available in English and French, with expansion to Indigenous languages currently being explored as this new service launches. The Hope for Wellness Help Line can be accessed by phone at 1-855-242-3310 or through the new online chat (https://www.hopeforwellness.ca/).
